Interflow and Ogilvy Landscapes sign deal
KARACHI (August 13 2005): Interflow Communications, Pakistan's largest advertising group has signed an agreement with Ogilvy and Mather, to bring their leading outdoor media agency set-up Ogilvy Landscapes to Pakistan.
Taher Khan, chairman and CEO of the group finalised this agreement with John Goodman, CEO, to launch Ogilvy Landscapes in Pakistan. This agreement marks the beginning of a new era in the field of Outdoor Media for Pakistan.
The expertise, knowledge and people Ogilvy Landscapes brings forth to marketers in Pakistan is unmatched, by any setup of its kind. The Outdoor media in Pakistan is disorganised as in most parts of Asia. This creates the need for strategic outdoor planning, measurement of the medium, effective monitoring systems, and above all better creativity as well.
With Ogilvy Landscapes, Interflow aims to offer marketers this very solution through a comprehensive system based on OSCAR (Outdoor Site Classification and Research) and other such Outdoor media planning, buying and creative tools.
With the proliferation of traditional media, marketers need to complement their electronic and print media campaigns with OOH (Out-of-Home) Media to ensure the target market is holistically reached across all the relevant points of contact. As a result, the need for an OOH specialist becomes the order of the day.
Speaking on the occasion Taher Khan said "I am particularly pleased today as, with the advent of Ogilvy Landscapes, the Pakistan market finally has the opportunity to maximise the return on huge investments being made in the outdoor media."
John Goodman added, "Ogilvy is very proud of our long relationship with Interflow and we see this as one more step towards a closer partnership."
As in the past, Interflow Communications has always pioneered in offering unique and currant marketing communication solutions ahead of its counterparts. Mindshare, a media planning and buying house is one example of many such initiatives. Ogilvy Landscapes is another one of those milestones.
Both Interflow and Ogilvy are committed to providing better service to our clients.
