Thailand, Pakistan To Boost Bilateral Trade

KARACHI, Sept 13 Asia Pulse - The Department of Export Promotion of Thailand's Ministry of Commerce plans to boost bilateral trade with Pakistan to US$1 billion from existing $400 million.

To achieve the milestone both Pakistan and Thai traders would have to work hard said Khalid Feroz, President of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).

He was speaking to a gathering during formal inaugural of "Thailand Exhibition-2005" at a local hotel.

The three-day exhibition was organised by Department of Export Promotion of Thai Ministry of Commerce and Royal Thai Government in association with Thai ConsulateGeneral, Karachi and Thai Trade Center, Dhaka.
