Im sure it will, the nearest fault line from Lahore is 280kms away so quake proofing will not be very expensive for buildings in Lahore.

Well, I have heard that the earthquake falls changes with time to time.
As the lava inside the earth crust make its way up, It makes a fault in the earth system. These faults changes from time to time as the lava comes out from different places in the earth crust. Due to the fact, these faults shift from place to place and the danger of Earthquake is thus everywhere.

SO IF ALLAH WILLS NO BUILDING IN THIS WORLD CAN WITHSTAND THE WRATH OF ALLAH ALMIGHTY

YET WE HAVE TO MAKE SOME ARRANGEMENTS FOR SAFETY AND SECURITY

Well that is without any doubt. I witnessed a mild Earth quake in Dubai ! a couple of years ago, and it was the first in recorded history. So it wouldn't do us any harm sticking to minimum standards to start with

Yeah faults do change places but no more than 5-10mm per year.

both plates that pakistan sits on are moving upwards i think its something like 30 cms a year not sure.. so the pressure is being built up near kashmir and in another 50-100 years we'll see another quake as big if not bigger then this one.. i hope pakistan is ready for it.

can somebody explain me about it height ??
normally in high towers..per story = 10 to 11 feet approx..
therefor
40*10=400 feet or 440 feet
how it will be a 600 feet
or if it will be a 600 then
600/40=15 feet average
it will be too much costly i think ....
i wonder how much effect on building strength ....
any civil engineer or architect can help us on this regard...plz

15ft/floor isnt very much (skyscrapers have lots of space for airconditioning ducts, wiring etc.), MCB tower has 14ft/floor, LDA tower might also have a spire on the top.

Abey paindoo insaan. Who ever has there name on that image was THE one to break copyright laws, the image was taken off Jang Newspaper, no credit given the the paper, and illegally putting 'pakboy' or whatever crap that is on the image without permission for use, so thats a major violation, and the person who did it could be jailed for it, and also heavily fined.

In short, get your act together, this is just a fukin image g a n d o o. Take a chill pill.

Hmm, that doesnt look like a render, the lower parts of the pic look like they are real, also I get Jang newspaper and I havent seen any picture like this since the news of LDA Tower was published (I go through the whole paper throughly).

Abey ghand kay keeray.

The image was taken off Jung, so I clearly mentioned in my initial post that 'the image was taken off Jung'.. I'm giving credit to someone who rightfully deserves, not a jerk off who scans pictures that belong to others, and puts his or her name tag on it.

Now go jerk off to that render. Your so in love with it. laugh.gif
