Wars never go as planned and how much resources you got......... Otherwise those who got plenty of resources to fight long term wars would have conqured the rest. Its will of Almighty and strength of HIS people, Pakistan have defeated a Super power and its people would Inshallah be always conqurers.

In todays world wars have become very different from conventional wars, a simple example is Iraq and the only super power there is helpless.

Wars in todays time are not fought alone, but with allies. Some allies contribute to military while others to contribute to your resources as well as safeguarding them. But a whole lot depends on the nature of war and the reason behind it, as you may loose some allies or gain some more.

If India was to start the agression and was seen as the agressor in the eyes of world and we were rightfully protecting our freedom, then I would say we could get lots of support from our allies to help replenish our resources. In that case if China was to replinish weapons and Saudis with oil, Pakistan could take on to India very well as long as it takes to frustrate them out of their evil designs.

On the other hand, if we are seen as agressors then the scenario not only changes but then our allies get also put to the test in how much could they support us with.

But any war that we would be fighting on our own will be short to begin with as the Pakistani military planners would try to throw everything for maximum damage in the shortest possible time.

Not for very long. With our current reserve amount we could only afford a few months of imports and that hoping if Pakistan isn't blockaded or sanctioned. Again people have this notion that China would jump in to save us and thats just not true. China with its growing economy will do anything to avoid a war. I still cant believe many people here still have this mentality that our friends will come and save us. Please grow out of it. We believed America was going to help us in 65 and 71 and look what happened?

In current scenario.

1) Pakistan can fight short wars.

2) Pakistan can not fight long war.

3) Pakistanis today if fight will have to fight not only india but america as well , make it clear.


Course for Pakistan

1) Pakistan is too slow in improving its defence forces. As quickly as possible improve PAF.

2) Pakistan must get STEALTH technology as soon as possible and employ it in aircrafts and missiles.

3) Pakistan must quickly get capability of serial production of not only JF-17 but also J-10.

4) Pakistan should considerably increase its nuclear arsenal to atleast 300 nuclear devices.

5) Pakistan must develop ICBM and ICBM with STEALTH technology.

The above 5 things can guarantee that Pakistan can damage the agressors considerably.

MEANWHILE , AGGRESSIVE PURSUIT OF ECONOMIC PROGRESS. IN 3 YEARS TIME, PAKISTANI EXPORTS MUST REACH 50 BILLION $ .

This is achievable and must be done , "BECAUSE TIME IS RUNNING OUT."
