That very good, i am glad that goverment of Pakistan has takenthe right decision. By this way the road standard in the country would be raised. Like this Pakistan should take institution by institution and upgrade it to world standards. I have been in Pakistan its pretty good standard on the motorway. I have droven on the roads of Germany, which has the reputation to have among the best roads in Europe with britisk and french roads. But my oppinion is that Pak motorway is much better, one reason for it is that its strait road, no jums, very good balanced.

After completing road projects Pakistan should upgrade:
1.Its train network and change old trains with new.
2. Other transport fezilities like subway, trams etc tec
3.Like compleet owerhauling og pakistani roads goverment should start with upgrading health and
education institutions in the country.
4. Law and order and corruption should rooted out, one way is to have strong mighty wach organs.
5. Goverment institutions shold be reformed.

Good news. These things form the backbone of nationwide trade.

National Highway (Karachi-Thatta-Shujawal-Tando Mohommad Khan) will be linked to the Super Highway somewhere inbetween and evetually be linked to Faisalabad as well, bringing the major manufacturing hubs together. Driving time from Karachi to Hyderabad will be 30 minutes and onwards to Faisalabad not more than 5 hours.

It'll be a boost to our trade & exports.

Its high time superhighway is upgraded into a motorway (m-9). Glad the GoP has taken steps into that direction.

Faisal Abad Khanewal motorway project is already on the way on BOT bais. I have read somewhere they are going to connect Multan and Khanewal with proposed motorway from Karachi.

It would be around 7-8 hours drive from Karachi to Faialabad once motor way is complete.

Yep, Indus Highway from Sukkur onwards.

Hope our current rulers stay for another term. Musharraf has alone accomplished in 5 years what cumulatively zia-bb-nawaz couldn't do in 25 years.

When I finally relocate back to Karachi, I'll take time off and drive through Pakistans length & breath, Insha-Allah.
I'll drive down to Multan, take me for a shoot.
