Righty...I guess all the senior members are used to my good bye antics hehe, but this time it's for real! It's been two weeks since classes started here at Wilfrid Laurier University...and the insane amount of reading is a huge pain. Whenever I see this place, I feel like swearing or terribly insulting someone...so I decided to stop posting here until I find some time to relax my brain.

If you don't know, I've just begun my honours BA program in Political Science with minor in Arabic. I hope to join Law School/LL.B program after completing my BA, then after that and likely a couple years of professional work apply for LL.M specific to International Law in Human Rights. Inshallah.

Besides study, I also got other major commitments; I've been chosen to represent my residence building (320 kids) at a Student Leadership Council...I'm also looking at being a member of my school's Legal Services Wing. I also got to fill the application requirements - academic and extra-curricular - for a Federal Government paid internship program starting in April 2008.

Besides study & work, I got another major thing to do...basically clamp down on my selfishness, pride, ego, eyes, words and bad thoughts...relax and cool down.

Came up with an old yet very thought provoking set of philosophies:

1) If conscious approves, do it...if it doesn't, don't do it. ->> Applies to everything BTW.
2) Whatever happens which was/is beyond your control despite your sincerest efforts happens by the will of God.

Finally...I'd just like to give my sincerest apologies to anyone and everyone who I have offended intentionally and/or may have offended without me knowing. This applies to everyone...Pakistani, Indian, Turkish, Arab, Bosnian, everyone regardless of where you're from, what you do, what your faith is, etc. Please find it in your hearts to forgive me, if not - well I'll have to pay for my transgressions regardless.

Take care all of you!

Allah Hafiz.

Bilal Hussain Khan

PS: Anyone with experience from Law School and/or senior undergraduate, please send me any contact link...I have a few questions.

Good luck to you friend. Wherever you are, I hope you do very well in your studies. Inshallah - and earn a good name for your country and your people...

As regards asking for forgiveness from people, it is a measure of your faith in God. We all have our destiny. Our paths cross sometimes on the road and often enough in this day and age in cyberspace.

I read the posts here often. I am not offended. I must admit that I am disturbed. But there is very little I can do about what makes people hate each other so much. But we can all pray and like you did so well, ask for forgiveness from people and God (not necessarily in that order). HE knows best!

Bilal, If you need help ask for it. I told you last time, I have a Masters degree in Law. A Barrister of Lincoln's Inn London and Six City and Guilds. Five of them in computing and computer programming. Black Belt Instructor in Shotokan Karate. And plenty more. You are highly intelligent and I want you to achieve much more than I have. Just remember, education is a very special blessing of God. It teaches you humility and respect for ordinary people. It will not make you rich but will give you confidence even when you are poor. I have noticed some very bright people on this forum. They make me feel very humble. Pakistan needs people like you. S.S.
