Can someone tell me when the fiscal year ends and when the GDP will be reevaluated. Also what will be the GDP projection in the near future. Have we crossed $1000/person yet? Also what is the required GDP needed for us to not be considered as a third world state. Please provide some type of source with your claims. thank you.

When we pass $1000/person we're considered a middle-level economy. I think currently we're hovering around $960/person, but I'm not sure. And when we pass $10,000/person we're considered a developed country.

Regarding your other questions, I'm sorry I don't know smile.gif

It will conveniently cross 160 billion dollars mark, according to the survey "World in 2008" it is estimated at 157 billion dollars, but we are bound to cross 1000 dollars mark this year. And if we take our population to be at 160 million, size of economy is around 160 billion dollar and if population to be at around 167 million ( which is current population approx) we will be around 167 billion dollars in June 2008.

Some interesting stuff their.
Goldman sachs did some predictions of Pakistans GDP they said by 2050 Pakistan would have a GDP of $2.5 Trillion which was shockingly good.

So when is it projected Pakistan will become developed GDP per capita wise ie get to $10,000 per person.

Any information on Indias projected GDP per capita?

I just hope we don't go the Indian route of having a few rich and an insane number of poor...with a population by like that by 2050, we'll need insanely tall buildings.

The info was GDP by 2050 not population mate.

I also hope we dont join india with a few rich and many poor. Much of that will boil down to policy. If we have policies that allow the poor to get rich like here in the UK this wont be a problem. This could be acheived via a very good education system in the future.
