Congratulations to all.

Another batch of Ghauri after the batch of Babur and Shaheen 1.

You might see some new develpoments cause they are busy with testing new parts in old rockets... They do not launch them for muscle presentation but to test better ABM avoidence or newer technology...
PakShaheen
Just a routine test by ASFC, SMG-14 brigade test fired Shaheen earlier, this was fired by SMG-28 brigade of ASFC. Significance of the test is it was first time all army drill. Scientists were there just to watch the show. Next planned is Ghaznavi Group. Brigadier Mehmood was commanding the test fire.

PS: what SMG stand for? G for Group, M for Missile, S for what? Strategic? Surface?

Ghauri 1 is a liquid fueled missile.

Bilal
Ghauris are liquid fueled while Shaheens are solid fueled.

IIRC ghauri emits visible smoke after reaching a certain altitude. If this is right then i may have seen the launch from very far. It was like a typical rocket launch.I told a friend of mine who was standing near me that its a missile launch but he did not believe it.

It is. The Shaheen is a solid fueled missile. I think its smart that they're testing (deploying) both types.
