Hi every one,
I am Eisha. Just joined the forum. It’s not long that I developed interest in Army and defence. As I am an internet surfer so just came across few articles about pak army on net. This made me search a bit more and I signed up for this forum. I do not know much about Army and non of family or friends are in Army but the articles on BBC and Times were not only surprising but very distressing for me. Anyway just wanted to say hello to everyone.

well to be honest I do not have mush Idea about the forum so is that every one here is some how related to army or its just that any one who is interested has joined and how come we have ranks here. Why I am just cadet and others are of higher ranks.

Well you need to pay the mods to get a higher rank..The more you pay the better rank you get. Plus you only get to become general if you attach a pic of you along with a m-16 in your hand, and there should be 1 person on either side of you with a RPG.
Currently we have about 60 generals in the board...It was easy for them to get the m-16's but I heard they had to loan an RPG to get the correct picture...
remember the picture should be smething like this, but with two other people of each side holding rpg's

Shahid, just so you know I have paid $17.34 of my hard earned money to become a major and I feel justifiably proud of doing so. Now after three months of paining houses, cleaning the driveway, I have been able to save $2.66 to pay off my next installment which would elevate me to the super position of Colonel..My family is going to be so proud...I cant stop dreaming of that day when I become a full colonel..My dreams have been so vivid, trying to imagine how much superior my skillz would be when I become a colonel...

Thanks Shahid. and thanks Inexess . Is that your own pic when you were a cadit? Oh thats why u are major as you donot have the other two people arround you with the things you mentioned. can u borrow me that thing you are holding in the pic . At least i can jump to Major rank.

Shehz, I didnt know she was a girl. I guess that's now a whole different 'ball' game. Eisha, instead of flaunting around with a m-16 and a two people having rpg's, women have a whole different rule set.
For Major, you need to show us a picture of your hands covered in Henna, for added bonus you can include some of your poems and paintings [they need to be esoteric and abstract, and shouldnt make no sense.] . Also there is a caveat for this rule, the poems should not deal with guys are losers, or why they cheat..If your poem deals with that issue , your rank will be immediately demoted to 'lunatic'
Now for Colonel, the pictures get interesting, one of our previous women memebers immediately became a full fledged colonel, by either telling the mods are cute or by showing us a picture of her feet. The condition for the feet picture is that the it is a group pic with many feets arranged in a concentric circle and should be followed by a question?? [the question is very important]
"which feet is mine" ...followed by a very detailed explanation of how awesome your friends are...
added bonus here would be henna on the feet too..At this stage pending approval from the mods and the hormone filled teens , you will be immediately catapulted to Colonel rank..
regarding ranks higher than colonel, I dont know what the requirements for women are, I dont think there are any non mod women in higher ranks than a colonel. Maybe you could check with Saira, she can give you some pointers on how to get past the colonel stage.
but remember to get to the general stage, there are no exceptions, since this is a defense forum, it is mandatory to have your picture where you are holding a weapon of choice [knives, slippers not included]. You can cover your face for privacy purposes..
if you check one of the last general threads, where Skull-Buster became a general at the young age of 17 or was it 18, he did so because he took a picture in front of ..yes a real fighter plane and yes there were two guys standing under each wing with a rpg..It was amazing. you can check with him for more pointers, thgh I cant be help accountable if his questions turn 'offtopic..'
...and yeah dont flirt with plat ..he is harami :-p....there are also a couple of playboys in this forum..one you need to lokout for is paguma larvata, he has the cobra stare and he usually captures his women for feeding using that stare..so be careful..whatever you do..dont look into his eyes..

Well thanks again for your guidlines but I am in no rush so will take my time to move to a higher rank. Secondly I have been blessed with brain so I donot need to send any sort of pics.Thirdly I am really surprised to know that there are not many girls on the forum. Hmm point to ponder why? Does the length of post also counts as inexcess really seemed to have free hours.

as for the member ranks, it depends upon the number of posts you have. in order to become a senior member one has to have 1000 posts. but if your contributions are considered valuable by Admins and Mods, you may be made a senior member without having to complete the quota of 1000 posts. one female member Jana became a senior member like this.

Well i did check the JANA one. Seems she is quiet senior and had some experience in this field. I absolutley do not and that is why i am here. I am a student so had a lilttle knowledge about it.

Regarding BBC and Times, foreign media doesnt care about Pakistan and the only reason they are covering the country is because the level of violence has gone up. What foreign media says may be true, and may also be not true. So dont get too worked up about it.

well, you can talk to people, read credible newspapers and books, go to credible blogs and forums.
But my point was that Pakistani media is more reliable about Pakistan than foreign media.

What many members here do is, to be safe, go into General sub-forum, open a new thread, and just ask the question!
Others who read the thread, then go into BBC/CNN or National geographic sites, even the library, and then come back here to answer the original querry.

Someone said against Army, "Wars may not come but crimes will never stop". We all sitting in jury benches can raise hands in the favour of the statement, only if we forget and ignore the sixty one years history of Pakistan. A nuclear power manipulating at eastern borders, fragile and volatile western frontiers with pashtuns/ pakhtuns, one of the most sought after warm waters of Arabian Sea and moderate climates of Karachi at stone's throw from any neighbouring country, living in the proximity of Asian economic giants; without a large standing Army, is a far fetched idea, which needs sincere and deep pioneering.
