Hi, I was just going through some stuff and this list popped up showing all the colors of US carrier flight deck crew members and the various colored jackets that they wear during operations.
Just thought I'd share the info with u

Blue --------------- Choke & Chain
Brown -------------- Plane Captain
Green -------------- Catapult Crew (Cat people including hook up men hook aircraft to the catapults and arresting gear
crew are called Gear Rats becoz of the tight spaces tht they have to work in)
Green & Black ----- CVW Maintenance
Green & Yellow ---- Safety Officer
Purple -------------- Fuelling (Also called grapes becoz of color)
Red ----------------- Ordnance
Red & Black -------- Fire (Also called Hershey Kisses becoz silver fire suits resemble chocolate foil wrapping)
White --------------- Safety Observer
Yellow -------------- Aircraft Directors & Catapult Officer
