Just a quick question, What option do we have just in case one of our submarine stuck under water for unknown reason (not interested in what may go wrong) to rescue our submariners. I do know all Subs are equipped with safety hatch but thats only effective in shallow waters…..
I know Indian Sub 209 is equipped with capsule, what about new German Sub.
Do we have any system available?
Just in case where we can go for help.. China, India, Uk (without uncle)

according to the rumours i've heard the PN is currently on the lookout for a sub rescue vessel.... i think that there is a turkish project currently in development and that the PN is interested in that.

regards.

P.S. at present we'd probably turn to the west as neither china nor india have sub rescue vessels. the west definitely has the technical edge on this respect at the moment.

I guess the Hovercrafts which PN aquired are for this purpose!

the hovercrafts are for the marines and used in the Sir Creek marshland area at the extreme south of the Pak-India border.

Oh well, we definitely need a rescue vessel. We are talking about 4 new sub and 5 Augusta's in service (excluding midgets).
At the end of the day I think we lack the planning in every department from cricket, foreign affairs or anyother areas. Our approach is to wait and see....
Money has nothing to do with it, we are buying billion dollars worth of new equipment.....anyhow thanks for your input.

PN is seeking one submarine rescue & support ship - stated by Janes.
