KARACHI : Warid Telecom has come up with AeroMobile communication system according to a statement issued here on Monday.
The Warid Telecom announced its commercial launch with AeroMobile, an in-flight connectivity solution provider partnered with Emirates Airlines.
It was pointed out that the Warid Telecom's international roaming users can now use their phones on any Emirates flight equipped with the AeroMobile communication system.
The statement further said that Warid's partnership with AeroMobile enables roamers a safe and cost-effective way to use their mobile phones while flying.
AeroMobile's equipment allows customers with convenience of making and receiving calls and SMS facilities during flights.
Users are conveniently billed directly to their mobile account with IR charges.
After Warid's interest in AeroMobile services, Emirates has decided to accommodate additional routes for the airlines.
The latest installation of these GSM services will be carried out on Boeing 777 for all Warid users. Increased features of GPRS data applications will also be launched for subscribers after this year.
