Indian made surveillance system to monitor Pakistani stocks
KARACHI: Indian made surveillance system would monitor Pakistani stocks from the next week, an official here said.
Talking to Geo News, Chairman SECP Razi-ur-Rahman said that the new system that has been imported from Dubai, was prepared by an Indian firm.
He said the trial functioning of the new surveillance system has proved successful and it will formally begin monitoring of the stock markets from the next week.
The system will help to avoid possible market crises and reinforce monitoring of the stock markets in the country, SECP officials said.
The system would also identify the persons responsible for artificial maneuvering of share prices in the market, they added.
