KARACHI: National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) will provide solar energy run tube wells on easy installments.
NBP Group chief Aamir Siddiqui told Geo news that the solar energy tube wells equipped with solar panel besides UPS would be provided under the bank’s ‘Rozgar Scheme’. Solar panel would be of 4 KV, while the USP could retain the charging for 24 hours.
He further said that these tube wells would be imported from China at a total cost of Rs0.4/0.5 million, but the common growers could easily acquire it because of its supply under the ‘Rozgar Scheme’. He said that the initial work in this regard was on and this scheme could be introduced in the next fiscal year.
