KOHAT/BANNU: Three security personnel were injured when a landmine exploded near Darra Adamkhel when an army convoy was passing through the Shini Kali bridge on Friday.

Troops fired towards nearby mountains but nobody appeared to be there.The injured were taken to the Combined Military Hospital in Kohat and they were said to be out of danger.

On Thursday night, explosives planted by militants blew up a portion of the boundary wall of the Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School in Kaki area of Bannu city. This was second such explosion in the city in a week.

In Darra town, militants attacked a vehicle of a private security agency near Shini Kali bazaar on Friday.

However, the vehicle which was transporting cash from Kohat to a bank in Darra bazaar, safely reached the bank.

Militants also blew up a bridge in Shiraki area. Local people said the bridge was partially damaged.

Pakistan Army needs better armor-plated troop carriers,even for FC.

the FC is very poorly equipped. i remember the FC soldiers who set up a post in our land in my village, all they had was an AK-47. they didnt even have boots, they used to wear the Peshawari chappal (saplai). even the food and blankets were supplied by the people of my village.

sadly thats true,like i have mentioned in a post that US aid goes to red tapers luxuries rather being spent correctly on soldiers weapons and body armor.

dude thats obvious but he was pointing towards strategy which is irrelevant to the aid pakistan is getting.The aid shud atleast be utilized properly and policies/startegies can be changed side by side.

We cant win this war which is masterminded by the United States.
