WANA: The withdrawal of the security forces has started from areas of Spain Kai, Ghazai and Kot Kai in South Waziristan.

Confirming the reports of the pullout of the security forces on Friday, the political administration of South Waziristan said the security forces were being deployed in areas of Jandola Qilla and other locations.

A security personnel was killed while defusing land mines on their way back in the areas of Spain Kai and Ghazai. The road between Jandola to Kani Garam and Jandola-Makeen remained closed for vehicular traffic after the deployment of troops in these areas since January 18, 2008.

This had multiplied transportation problems of the Mehsud and the Barki tribes and the tribesmen used to go to their homes via North Waziristan, involving journeys of eight to ten hours by foot.

The political administration of South Waziristan said the forces had been withdrawn keeping in view the difficulties of the people. The forces pullout would be completed within a day or two. The presence of the security forces at the Pak-Afghan is not being thinned out.

The tribal elders and people have welcomed the step, saying the roads will now be opened for traffic and it would help strengthen the relations between the people and the Army and also scale down the suicide attacks in the areas. The ISPR has also confirmed the withdrawal of the security forces from Spain Kai, Ghazai and Kot Kai.

Worse than the fall of Dacca. At least we fought then.

A pull out means only one thing, expect US air strikes! When this happens, guess who they would be calling upon to come in and protect them? PA, PAF & PN are the only ones on the ground, air and sea that would protect Pakistan, with Allah's permission. They ranted democracy, they got it and now they will cry for some reprieve. They wanted an end to Pakistan Army's operations in FATA, they got it and now they will plead for help when the Americans will come and pound them. Where is the sanity in this?? Maybe the same question should be asked of the same people who rant democracy and want PA out of FATA. Forces that are bought for mere nickels, have sold their souls to the devil which churns out its sinister plans to destroy our country. While a 160 million Pakistanis await their fate, not realizing the most powerful truth of all, that they themselves can save their country, not one man, not one army, not any corrupt, decadent and devious politician.

Its excellent to see that the government is talking to fellow Pakistani's instead of shooting them.

But foriegners, be it "alqaida" or american UAVs, nobody should be allowed to harm Pakistani's.

The suicide bombings have stopped. The only problem left now is these missile strikes.

We have made requests and lodged complaints. I think now its time to start shooting down these UAVs.
