‘Army considers Musharraf legal president’
Saturday, May 31, 2008

LAHORE: Pakistan’s armed forces still consider President Pervez Musharraf their supreme commander, as well as the legal and constitutional president of the country, Geo news quoted sources within the Pakistan Army as saying.

The channel’s senior anchor and analyst Kamran Khan quoted these sources as saying that the recent rumours of Musharraf’s resignation were completely baseless. He reported that the United States administration, including its envoy Anne W Patterson, had been very active during the last 24 hours with regards to the political situation in Pakistan.

He said the US wanted the present government to respect the agreements reached between President Musharraf and the PPP before the general elections. He revealed that the Saudi government had also forwarded messages to the political leadership in the last 24 hours. daily times monitor

Does national reconcilliation work both ways. I'd say it has too.

If you want Zardari and Nawaz Sharif and all your corrupt politicans in power, you know your elected and not so elected representatives you have to put up with Mushy.

Me Personally, I'd like them all gone, Mushy, Judges, Lawyers, Police chiefs, politicans (elected or otherwise).

If you prefer reconciliation, then you have to support everybody in government and only the ones in government. I still love President Pervez Musharraf (just hate the crook military that abandoned him and President Zia-ul-Haq just like that).

I don't care one little bit who rules Pakistan, I will and have always supported the ruling governments. I hate all those that are not in government but are desparately doing all their best to damage the country as much as they can in order to create an atmosphere where a power vaccum becomes an option for everyone to consider.

Now that Pakistan People's Party and President Pervez Musharraf are in power, I accept and support both of these entities because that is what Allah Almighty has ordained for the Pakistani Civilisation. If these two entities fight amongst themselves, that's their internal matter, nothing that we the people need to get all emotional about.

All other parties including MQM, PML-N, MMA, PTI etc. that are not in the cabinet cannot be supported and must be opposed at all fronts as they have no right to demand a coup d' etat. But if tomorrow any of them were the ruling parties in Pakistan, then i'll put my hands up and fully support them too.
