Saudi Arabia donates $100,000 to Comstech
ISLAMABAD (June 08 2008): Saudi Arabia has contributed 100,000 dollars to Comstech, OIC's ministerial standing committee for science and technology. Saudi Arabia announced its commitment for the said amount during the 13th General Assembly session of COMSTECH held from April 1 to 3 this year in Islamabad.
Ali S. Awadh Asseri, Ambassador of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, delivered the cheque to Dr Mohammed Ali Mahesar, Assistant Co-ordinator General, Comstech, at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia Friday. In a special note Ambassador Asseri reiterated Saudi Arabia's support for scientific research by the Muslim Ummah COMSTECH is a ministerial standing committee of the Organisation of Islamic conference on scientific and technological co-operation.
