Getting back to the topic about the health and prospects of Indian Economy......its good to see we have such vehement critics as well as a comprehensive competitor in our neighbourhood.

I think we should close this topic and let India and Pakistan and China grow at its own pace. Hitting a wall or a mountain, an economy which sources the most of its strengths from Prostitution and Remmitance should degenerate faster and rather grow from a 4th world country.

I guess our PM is in Tokyo to beg for Grant and Sarko has gone nuts asking for inclusion of India in G8. And yes I have faith in the number crunching that strongly suggest that India with its 700 million poors who cant even get a decent meal a day would turn into a Somalia style devasted country.

That's because the Indians did so much propaganda in western media. I think I read something like the Indian government spent more on international propaganda than on health care in 2007. Also there are an army of Indian reporters "patriotically" wrote propaganda news for India. That's why so many in the west only see positive news about India. I read article on the British Times news saying there is NO poverty in India. Can you believe that?

Pakistan has the third biggest GDP PPP in muslim world and i think 24th biggest in the world and thats about it. But there are hell alot more muslim countries who can afford hundreds and billionns of dollars and have better standard of livin than Pakistan.

GDP is good indicator of econmic activity but its not always what it seems and it also doesnt explain the well being of a nation.
