Police brutality on bicyclist.

Critical Mass is a worldwide phenomenon. Basically, a huge group of cyclists gather in cities across the world that aren't so bike-friendly and ride around that city. I did it twice in New York, but almost got a ticket when the cops set up a blockade in Midtown to stop the ride my second time out. The bicyclist who was beaten by the police was charged with attempted assault and resisting arrest and was held in a jail cell for 26 hours. Obviously, that's BS. If you live in North America or a not-so bike-friendly European city find out more and ride your bike!

I am not a fan of cyclists--they are just retards thinking that they can block the traffic, break all the trafic rules, do the most stupidiest things on road and still hue and cry when someone kicks their arses!!!

NO! They don't go through red lights, usually there is a separate lane for cyclists

From what I heard that particular cyclist had knocked off a policewoman's hat off that is why only he was targeted. But still a pretty brutal takedown if u ask me.

Not only that there large signs prohibiting Cyclists from entering Tunnels--but guess what these idiots go in there as well. Once while driving as soon as I entered the tunnel I saw a bunch of them blocing one lane inside the tunnel. I really got the shi-ts and I pulled by their side and asked if they were freaking blind!! Not only that as soon as I got out of the tunnel I saw a police car in front of me and this made me really mad!! So I came next to the police car and asked the officer as why he did not stop and fine those cyclists in the tunnel. He was bit embarrassed and said to me that he was on call for another more urgent matter!! Freaking hell!!

I think its wrong of a policeman to push someone off a bike like that specially if hes not wearing a helmet.

the said policeman has been suspended, many police in the US are a bit sick, and would love to kill Blacks, Muslims, cyclists, anti-war protestors, if it wasnt for laws.

So we are shifting to a society where people will be judged by what they drive, good change I must say. Atleast it will take the focus off race, colour and religion. Truely a miracle how a human psyche works.

In NL it's not required that cyclists wear a helmet. It is weird to do so unless on a roadbike at high speed.

In New York you're required to wear a helmet if you are under the age of 14. The guy in the video is 29. He doesn't have to wear a helmet. I don't.

Dude the reason I asked is because I cannot believe when you said that the cyclyists in Melbourne dont break the law!! Oh God I travel to Melbourne every second month and you are telling me that the cyclists there are angels who dont break the laws?? Please you can do that better--the cyclists in Melbourne are no different than in Sydney, hell bent upon on breaking all the traffic rules!!

As per Australian laws all Cyclists and motor cyclists are required to wear helmets irrespective of their ages!! I am very surprised that yanks and NL don't have such laws because it is common sense that head injuries are usually fatal!!

Pedestrians also break traffic rules, car/truck drivers also break traffic rules.

Aw man, last night I was biking with my friends. This couple is walking right in the middle of the bikepath and we're going pretty fast. Then I see onr of those dividers that bends coming up and I have to turn o I don't hit them. Made too sharp a turn. Fell off my bike, now I'm limpimg on my left leg and I got scrapes on my knee and elbow. And I've noticed that pedestrians of the street don't pay attention to cyclists. I was shooting down one of those bikepaths on the street, and when it was a green light but no cars were coming they would just walk across and would finally realise, "oh my gosh a bike is coming!" and get out fo the way. Dumbasses.

Hahaha...and now the poor padestrians are responsible for all the evils on the road!!! this is hilarious!!

Go to SoHo on a Saturday afternoon and you will see clueless people walking when it says don't walk and cars continuously honking for them to move.
