I wonder why GDP is not listed among the offered courses list.
It may be ther a bit late, or already has been announced.
Cadets usually report Academy on same day.
EhtishamS
128GDP course was in line, but they haven't announced as of yet. Probably they're going to fill it with cadets from PAF public school Sargodha/Lower Topa.

More then 70 cadets are selected from those two mentioned schools. Where as the rest are from Hassan Abdal and the remaining few percent are civilians.

well, it doesn't work like this.
everyone has to come thru ISSB and CMB(Medical).
being from any cadet college just hardens and prepare you better, (probably don't need "primary/intellignece tests) but one can't bypass ISSB or CMB.

to my guess, in a batch of 100, there should be roughly 3-4 abdalians, 2-3 alamgirians, 10-12 topians, and may be 25-35 sargodhians.
rest of them are slow to start, but many perform better in long term.
by the time they report pft, there is no difference. cft year levels everything.

My figures about batch sizes are bit outdated. can someone list the latest ones, i.e. for last entry of all branches?

Dear, The cadet schools prepare the cadets for the ISSB tests more efficiently then the civilians. Thats why the ratio always remain 8:5 or higher.
Since the airforce and army officers them selves prepare those cadets at cadet schools.

No problem if u r a Sargodhian.
don't forget dozens of ISSB GTO's running trainging camps outside too.
I am talking out of my personal experience that may be different from yours.

What if you have an engineering degree and u'r 25 yrs old? laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif
schmuck
if you have Electronics/Avionics/Aeronautical/Mechanical engineering degree, u may need just 6 months training to get a F/L rank.
but it depends if PAF is inducting any graduate batch at this time.
