Full Version: No Paf Aircraft Crash Landed’

ISLAMABAD: In response to a news item reported in a section of the press about crash landing of the Pakistan Air Force aircraft at Khalid Airbase in Quetta, the PAF has clarified that no PAF aircraft crash landed. A clarification issued here on Monday said it was Mushshak aircraft of the Army Aviation and both pilot and co-pilot are reported to be safe. It is the responsibility of the press to seek clarification from respective organisation before publishing the news, it added.

The sad news is that an army aviation's Mashaq aircraft crashed in Bhawalpur today, the pilot Captain Bilal Mahmood embarrased shahadat.
our thoughts are with him and his family!

A very sad news indeed.

Pakistan army operates piloted planes is news to me. My understanding was that Pakistan Army aviation only operates helicopters and UAV's. Do they also operate transport planes and fighters?

u mean he embraced shahadat.May his soul rest in Janat Ul Firdous and may Allah give his family patience to bear such a huge loss.

Pakistan Army Aviation (PAA) operates several fixed wing types for liason and transport duties.> Cessna 421 Golden Eagle, Rockwell Turbo Commander, Cessna O-1, Piper Seneca ll and Beechcraft Baron B55 amongst others.
