Qatar Airways is definitely much above the famed Emirates Airways for excellent range of free wines & drinks available on-board along with a very good choice of programs available in their interactive in-flight entertainment.

On the other hand American Airlines is one of the sh1ties airlines I have ever flown. For a 17 hours non-stop Delhi-Chicago flight they served just two meals, one at take off and other at landing, and all wines & drinks had to be paid for. Moreover the inflight entertainment is non-interactive i.e. channel selection without an option of play, stop or pause.

No offense but I don't trust these ratings. Generally speaking, Asian Airliners treat westerners better than others. So, the many Asian Airlines being in these lists reveals a bit about who is doing the judging.

a similar survey should be done by asians too.

Qatar airways is no doubt is world class airlines

How the hell is Qantas there?? I really don't want my airplanes getting blow up with oxygen bottles so I'll pass them the next time I take a flight.

Why no BA? or Virgin? They have really good Upper Class services!

Bro, BA has one of the worst reputations for customer service. The English folks here hate them. People tend to choose another carrier, if they find one on the same flight path. They have been losing out to Virgin for quite some time now.

Best in flight entertainment is definitely Emirates. Best overall airline is between Emirates, Qatar and Singapore.

i have been on PIA, India, Kuweit, Libya, Qatar, United, LTU, American, Lufthansa, KLM, Etihad

and my experience agrees with the ranking above. Asians are a lot better than others. They have younger people (americans and europeans have all 50+ hosts) who are more friendly. They have better meals, more delicious. And the entertainment program depends upon technology. Most arab airlines have newest technology which allows individual program selection with newest films, music etc.

I will be flying the British and Quatar in December. I'm used to flying Air Canada, American Airlines, and SouthWest Airlines .......which all SUCK!!!

I agree with most of the ranking--however with sadness I have to say that QANTAS is an absolute disgrace and people who put them in that list deserve to have their arses kicked!! Seriously, QANTAS is pathetic!!
